Description

This chapel would mark the proximity of a miraculous but hidden spring (Fontcouvert: Covered fountain) reputed to give back the joy of life. Classified historical Monument Since 1946, it stands proudly on its rounded sandstone rock, striated, worn by the ancient glacier of the Clarée.
Founded in 1627 for the Maritan family, it still belongs to their descendants. Like many altitude chapels, its small volume is open, protected by a simple clear-way with beautiful wooden bars.
